BOTULINUM TOXIN
( Botox)
It is important to have a thorough consultation prior to your neurotoxin ( Botox*) treatment
This treatment is a very simple and easy one to have, if you have facial lines you wish to soften, excessive under arm, hand or feet sweating. Headaches and migraines can be helped. Gummy smiles can be improved. Thin lips can be improved. Heavy upper brows can be lifted.
Its quite amazing the number of areas that Botox* can be used in.
There are some medical conditions that may preclude you from this treatment
You will not be suitable for this treatment if you are pregnant or breast feeding
You will be required to sign a consent form
You will be required to disclose any medical conditions, medications, suppliments and allergies

Botulinum toxin works by relaxing facial muscles thus preventing the muscle from contracting and creating a “wrinkle”
The muscles we want to relax are specifically targeted and treated. These include the muscles of the frown, forehead or the crows feet..
These effects can take from 2 days to 2 weeks to be apparent and typically last up to 12 weeks, though many people feel it lasts longer. Longevity is usually dependant on the amount injected and the area treated and of course the person injected.
The majority of people treated suffer no side effects from their treatments.
If you stop having treatments the muscles will return to their original state, as will the ‘wrinkles’ eventually.
The treatments are quick and simple. A very tiny needle is used to introduce the neurotoxin of choice to the muscle. Pain is very minimal and brief. You can go about your daily life straight after your treatment.
I work to keep the face looking as natural as possible.
You will have a 4 week follow up where we will compare before and after photos and do any top up treatments necessary.
You will be sent home with an aftercare sheet of instructions which your clinician will go thr0ugh before you leave.
There can be some mild side effects and these will be explained at your consultation. These side effects are generally short lived.
Neurotoxin (Botox*) can be used in combination with other treatments
